PERFECT STAR = CHRIST

ASSEMBLY = CONGREGATION

The event of the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord and savior in Matthew 2:1-12 gave birth to the name of our church (Perfect Star Assembly). Immediately Christ was born, men from the east attested to the appearing of an unusual STAR in the skies. These men were christened wise simply because they connected to the ‘star’ of Jesus. And it was also noted that as long as they stayed connected to this ‘star’ it led them to their perfect destination. And the only time the bible acknowledged that they lost their way was when they left the ‘star’ and started consulting supposed expert (the Jews) concerning their mission in locating the messiah.

Jesus Christ is our ‘Perfect Star’, while we that chose to connect. Follow and allow Him to lead us to our perfect destinations in life are the ‘Assembly’. One of the ironies of the story of the appearing of the star of Jesus to me is the fact that the Jews that the ‘star’ was supposed to attract and help locate their messiah were oblivious to the fact that there was a guiding light created by God to aid their expectation of the messiah and the fulfilment of the prophecy they had waited for for years. And it became even more baffling when the knowledge of the sighting of the star was mentioned to them that there was no one curious enough among the biblical scholars consulted by the wise men to go with them and honour the messiah.

PERFECT STAR ASSEMBLY is more than just a name. It is a guiding light by God to help guide His children to their perfect destinations in life, without the misleading of men and the numerous distractions in our current world.

We believe strongly in Perfect Star Assembly;

  1. That if you connect to the ‘Perfect Star’ of Jesus you can never miss your way in life.
  2. That anyone connected to the ‘Perfect Star’ of Christ is adjudge a WISE person, like the wise-men in Matthew 2, their end results speak for their choice of actions.
  • That your connection makes you too a star, and as you stay connected you are raised into a mega-star.

MOTTO

   Lion will only begat lions, while goat brings forth its kind, as children of the ‘Perfect Star’ we are born stars… but we also understand that stars differ in glory; the glory of the SUN cannot be compared to any other star, it’s a mega-star glory.

   To be born a STAR in Christ is wonderful but it’s not enough, we must stay rooted to be raised through the word of God into His glorious likeness (MEGA-STARS). The bible made us understand the we are gods, and that ‘gods’ that know not that they are gods will die like mere mortals on earth. In Perfect Star Assembly we know who we are and we feed according to our DNA, in order to grow to the fullness of what we are meant to be and function to the maximum of our destinies.

   According to Ephesians 5:26-27, to be presented to Christ without spot, wrinkles and not having any blemish we all must of a necessity be cleanse by the word of God. Only then can the fullness of God’s glory upon our lives shine forth like the noonday sun. 

 

MANDATE

 

We have a mandate in Perfect Star Assembly to FEED, HEAL & SAVE the people of the Lord.

  1. FEED (Salvation): The first overall assignment of this commission is SALVATION of the souls of men
  2. HEAL (Physical, Soulical & Spiritual) :
  • SAVE (Breakthrough): We also carry the mandate by God to break men free from any and every demonic strangulation.

 

 

VISION

 

Colosians 3:11c …Christ is all, and Christ in all.

We are raising a people where there is no language barrier, no tribe, no nationality, no division but where Christ is all and Christ in all. 

 

   According to the word of God to us in Colossians 3:11c, which simply says CHRIST IS ALL, AND IN ALL. We coin what we know as our vision statement as mentioned above.

    In PERFECT STAR ASSEMBLY we are raising a people that Christ all to them and that Christ is prominent in everything they do. We are not raising Sunday morning warriors for God, people that only remember their bible on Sunday morning but people that carry God everywhere they go and in everything they do.

   We are a church that strongly believe in the raising of an army that is properly equipped to represent God in any sphere of the society that they find themselves. A people that can stand their ground against any situation, circumstances, people or diabolical forces.

   One of the major angst against the children of God today is that we have too many Sunday-Sunday Christians as compared to those that can hold their own in the market place (Monday to Saturday ). There are too many Christians that are eloquent with religious lingos than with the knowledge of the God they profess to serve. We have been mandated by God to raise a new army, and there is no better army for Christ like an army that is all for God, totally sold out to be like Him and to profess Him every living minute of their lives with every talent, opportunity and privileges accorded them by Christ.

   Understand that we are a sold-out people for Christ Jesus and our primary objective is to raise fellow sold-out people for Christ

 

 

MISSION

 

Using the biblical understanding of the Person. Principles and Power of our Lord Jesus Christ to prune our Purposes, Passions, Potentials and Privileges into a Perfect Living.

 

   In all sincerity, becoming a Person (Christian) that Christ is all to and Christ in everything you do, is not an easy feat at all. So, in order to achieve the Vision that the Lord has placed upon our shoulders we broke this great mountain into smaller achievable hills.

   We are using in PERFECT STAR ASSEMBLY, what the bible says (not men’s interpretations) about the Person, Powers and Principles of Christ Jesus to work on our lives in order to achieve the life that Christ has prepared and provided for us.

   We understand and believe the 3-fold Ministry of Jesus Christ. And we understand that ignorance and negligence of any of these sides of Jesus is the major reason for the distortion and misappropriation in the standing of most Christians in the society and life.

  1. THE PERSON OF CHRIST: The Person of Christ guarantees you going to heaven. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life, NO ONE cometh unto the father except through me” ( ). There is no other way to the Father except through the Son. Men can debate this all they like, people might dance around it in order to be politically correct but the truth still stands that Jesus is the ONLY way to God the Father, and no alternative.

 

  1. THE PRINCIPLES OF CHRIST: The Person of Jesus guarantees you making heaven but with the Principles of Jesus you will lose the Earth. The bible say “…without holiness no man shall see God..”. But there are countless examples in life and in the bible that you can be righteous, heaven bound but still die broke and diseased on earth.

 

Many Christians are still ignorant of the fact that Christ didn’t come just to die for us to make heaven but He also came to teach PRINCIPLES that are designed to help you and me have success in every area of our lives on earth. The ignorance of this fact has made many Christians heaven bound but are already living their hell, on earth like Lazarus. Lazarus went to heaven as a righteous man but he died on earth broke, poor and diseased at the gate of a wicked sinner.

   Is that not what we are seeing mostly in our world? Many Righteous Christians that have come to the understanding of the PERSON OF CHRIST but ignorant of the PRINCIPLES OF CHRIST are reliving Lazarus experience all over again and again. Part of what Jesus came to reaffirm with His glorious coming was to show us that with the Principles buried in His word we as His children can access success in every area of our lives; be it your marriage, career, health, academics etc name it, you can achieve success through the principles. My question to you out there is WHY DIE AS A LAZARUS WHEN YOU HAVE THE PROVISION OF AN ABRAHAM?!

 

 

  • THE POWER OF CHRIST: The bible says we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers… lives, societies, nations and the world as a whole is being put constantly in a stronghold that has messed up the beauty that lives was designed to be by God.

   Jesus came on earth and had to confront problems that science was too overwhelmed to handle. Deaths, poverty, sicknesses and diseases and all manners of negativities engineered and sponsored by principalities and powers were subjected to His powers because He is the ALMIGHTY. There are powers on earth since the fall of the devil and his minions but there is not power like the power of Jehovah God and Jesus came amongst us to exemplify this. As a child of God if you fail to understand and operate with the power of God, the devil and his fallen minions with malign and frustrate our journey on earth.  

   In African where diabolical powers are more proponent and visible, people still live in open fear of this powers despite the numerous churches that are scattered all through our cities, towns and streets. Lives have been maimed and destinies are still being manipulated negatively by forces that are supposes to bow to us as children of God.

   Psalms 24 shows us that there are gates on earth that don’t simply answer to your righteousness alone but only responds to power. Challenges that must be confronted by the power that God has made available for every believer but not all are operate in and with.  We teach you in PERFECT STAR ASSEMBLY how to deploy your God given power against diabolical forces that don’t reason or cooperate with your right to a glorious existence but only respect force ( …since the days of John the Baptist the kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent takes it by force…).

   As children of God, and also His representatives in the society, we are people of values and the core of the values we try to instil in our people is by the acronym DEEP.

 

  1. DISCIPLINE: Our definition of Discipline is very simple. To us Discipline is ‘doing the right thing at the right time’. The bible made us understand that there is a (right) TIME for everything on earth, and we try our best to adhere to the vital life’s principle. Discipline is a principles designed by God Himself to bring His children into incredible success in life.

. Doing the Right thing at the wrong time is a waste of Blessings; The Talents, Strength, Substance etc are wasted when they are invested at a wrong time or season no matter how good or great they are.

. Doing the Wrong Thing at the Right Time is a waste of Opportunity; Opportunities are God’s wind ow to give you accelerated success and exponential increase. When these windows are ignored or not properly maximise the life and existences of the recipients always have a sad tale to tell.

. Doing the Right Thing at the Right Time is cooperating with God to make your life glorious; It is said that there is not comparable to an idea that is at its season. When opportunity meet preparation success is inevitable.

 

  1. EQUITY: In PERFECT STAR ASSEMBLY we model Equity ie Justice to all our members as a core value to help us as stewards worthy of bearing the master’s emblem. We have a simple parlance in the church that ‘as you snap your picture that is how you see yourself. No photoshoping’.

    God does not play with Justice in His kingdom, neither do we. Infact one of the principles that God spoke about in the scriptures that He values than tithing ( ), Fasting ( ), is Justice. It is a principle on which the foundation of every society that will stand the test of time and be great should be built and rested. Justice is so dear to Jehovah that His throne is built on Justice.

  • EXCELLENCE: Distinction is the key to recognition and lifting, and Excellence is the purveyor of distinction. Excellence is having that extra touch of quality upon whatsoever you are doing. A people of excellence determines they calibre of people that are attracted to him or her
